The Bed & Breakfast "Antica Piazza dei Miracoli" comes from the restoration of a Medici villa located in the historic center of Pisa.

Palazzo Blu is one of Tuscany's artistic highlights, an excellent art museum located in the historic heart of Pisa. It houses both a permanent collection and important temporary exhibitions throughout the year in a beautiful former palace. Permanent artists include Artemisia and Orazio Gentileschi, Benozzo Gozzoli and Umberto Vittorini and recent temporary exhibitions have included works by the likes of Dali and Lautrec in the past year.
From October 13 to January 28, Palazzo Blu will be home to “Escher. Oltre il possibile”, (“Escher – Beyond possibility”) an exhibition of the work of 20th century artist Maurits Cornelis Escher (or M. C. Escher), a Dutch graphic artist who made mathematically inspired woodcuts, lithographs, and mezzotints.
The exhibition recalls the climate of student protests, which had Pisa as their main theater, through photographs taken from the archive of Luciano Frassi, the most important post-war photographer from Pisa.
The Museum of Graphics of Pisa will host from 22nd December to 11th March 2018 the exhibition 'Time and works', curated by Massimo Melotti and with works by Roman Opalka, Mariateresa Sartori, Andrea Santarlasci, Fabio Mauri, Giorgio Cugno, Jasmina Metwaly, Federico De Leonardis, Claudio Costa, Francesco Jodice and Gianluca and Massimiliano De Serio.
Organized by Museo della Grafica (municipality of Pisa and the University of Pisa) under the patronage of the Tuscany Region and Scuola Normale Superiore, the exhibition intends to present artists and trends in contemporary art that have deepened their research on the theme of time..
